FRESH CONTENT SOCIETY

From March 2023 - March 2024 I had the opportunity to work with a small social media agency where my main client was National Geographic’s Wicked Tuna. I assisted with creating engaging lifts, memes, and gifs for their social media platforms. I also organized Facebook Live events where fans of the show got to interact with their favorite captains.

Aside from Wicked Tuna, I also worked on other accounts such as SABRE, DogWalkers, Travel Centers of America, PEAK Automotive, OKAY Dispensaries, Big League Chew, and several others.

During the year I worked at Fresh Content Society I was given the incredible opportunity to be the creative lead for two major account, (Wicked Tuna and SABRE). I learned the significance of brand voice and the importance of being consistent with posting and engagement. On top of that, I advanced my skills in creating content calendars, and playing more of a manger role on certain accounts.

Overall working for Fresh Content Society was an amazing growth and learning opportunity and I was truly able to go beyond just creating the content and leaning more into really connecting and growing on social media platforms.

NOTABLE CONTENT

WICKED TUNA

Working with a show like Wicked Tuna was truly a dream come true. I grew up watching this show with my dad and have even attended meet and greets in the past. I found working on their social media accounts seamless because I knew the audience that was watching. This is the account where I truly learned the significance of brand voice and matching content to fully engage the desired audience.

Making these lifts for National Geographic consisted of knowledge in both Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. I was very sufficient in Premiere, but in this case I took the extra mile to really learn the After Effects editing software. After several online classes, and consistent practice I have found myself really enjoying the editing process in After Effects.

SABRE

SABRE is a company that sells safety tools for everyday life such as pepper spray, pepper gel, personal alarms, and stun guns. For this client we created the content from ideation to final executed product. Sometime the content was short-form videos and other times it was graphics and photos.

During my time as creative lead fro SABRE we were able to significantly grow their engagement on all of their platforms.

By working with this account I learned the significance of creating more casual content for certain brands. Their audience was mainly college students so making lifestyle content that didn’t use high production equipment showed to perform very well.

This video shown here reached 3.8 million views.

OKAY Dispensary

OKAY Dispensary was not one of the main accounts I assisted with, but I did have some efforts in their initial growth once they started with FCS. For this account my main assignments were graphics for events and simplistic motion graphic videos for their Instagram page.
